Build long term capacity in the areas of health, education and sustainability in the villages associated with Comunidade Edmond Rice in Timor;
Support the East Timorese to improve their life choices; and
Continue to connect the heads and hearts of our community with the story of the Timorese people.
They are also now supporting over 50 women through the Timor Cards co-operative to build sustainable social business enterprise. Spectacular Christmas and occasional cards are produced by the women and then distributed through the TNN network. Cards can be customised for large orders and several organisations are now using these cards for their 2010 corporate Christmas Cards. The cards are now sold in a number of outlets - including the Qld Art Gallery. This is an enormous recgonition of the quality of these beautiful products.
